Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Philadelphia, PA)

Foxglove Orchard Foods Group is a Philadelphia food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
