Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Philadelphia, PA)

Silverline Fern Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Philadelphia design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
