Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Oklahoma City, OK)

We are growing our team at Cedar Wren Freight Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 957 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oklahoma City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
