Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Vale Water Authority and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 290 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
