Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Memphis, TN)

Fernwood Rowan Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
