Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Louisville, KY)

Stonegate Cross Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Louisville working with agencies and riders, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
