Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Field Water Authority and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
