Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Kansas City, MO)

Summit Basin Foods produces packaged foods at its Kansas City plant, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
