Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Kansas City, MO)

Cedar Umber Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Kansas City, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 676 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for customer sites and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
