Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Redstone Granite Water Authority and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
