Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Hollow Environmental Services and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 65 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
