Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Redstone Inspection Services and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
