Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Hartford, CT)

Northwind Juniper Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Hartford, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
