Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Kestrel Water Authority and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
