Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Columbus, OH)

Amberfield Bridge Energy is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 993 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
