Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Nova Glen Environmental Services and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
