Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Cleveland, OH)

Ironwood Juniper Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 76 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with recycling loads.
