Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Boston, MA)

Bluepeak Lakeside Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
