Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Boise, ID)

Summit Rook Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Boise, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
