Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Austin, TX)

Silverline Cobalt Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Austin. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for supplier deliveries and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
