Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Tucson, AZ)

We are growing our team at Nova Vale Manufacturing and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
