Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Tucson, AZ)

Ironwood Glen Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Tucson plant, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
