Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Tucson, AZ)

Amberfield Willow Construction is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 488 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
