Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Quarry Freight and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
