Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Lakeside Transit Planning Partners plans bus and rail service for cities around San Antonio, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
