Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Rochester, NY)

Redstone Meridian Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Rochester, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
