Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Rochester, NY)

Highbridge Keystone Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Rochester design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
