Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Rochester, NY)

Silverline Glen Farms is an agricultural business based around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 994 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with seasonal crews. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
