Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Richmond, VA)

Stonegate Clear Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Richmond region. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 401 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
