Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Reno, NV)

Summit Quarry Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Reno, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 103 people based in Reno. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
