Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Silverline Forge Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Philadelphia. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
