Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Fernwood Cross Foods produces packaged foods at its Memphis plant, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 263 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Memphis. • We reply to every applicant.
