Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Lumen Forge Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Tulsa. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
