Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Rivermark Wren Farms is an agricultural business based around Rochester, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
