Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Westbrook Sparrow Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Colorado Springs, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
