Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Harborlight Field Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • We reply to every applicant.
