Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Bright West Transit Planning Group is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for accessibility audits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
