Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Vista Manufacturing and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
