Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Cedar Linden Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Grand Rapids region, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
