Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Amberfield Glen Inspection Services Group is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
