Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Ironwood Wren Foods produces packaged foods at its Fort Worth plant. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 193 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
