Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Sparrow Farms and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
