Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Redstone Harbor Foods produces packaged foods at its Cleveland plant. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 732 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
