Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Stonegate Ivory Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Cleveland. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
