Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Northwind Construction is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with safety records.
