Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Fernwood Juniper Transit Planning Holdings helps transport agencies around Philadelphia design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
