Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Fernwood Bridge Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
