Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Northwind Stone Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
