Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Raleigh, NC)

Ironwood West Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Raleigh, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
