Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Portland, OR)

Harborlight Rowan Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Portland. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people based in Portland. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
